На мероприятии Samsung Developer Conference 2022 южнокорейский IT-гигант представил финальную версию прошивки One UI 5.0. Апдейт на основе Android 13 придёт на актуальные модели уже в этом месяце. Рассказываем обо всех нововведениях.
Дизайн и персонализация
Разработчики хотели предоставить пользователям больше контроля над внешним видом системы. С этой целью в One UI внедрили переработанный экран блокировки с расширенной кастомизацией. Теперь легко менять не только обои, но и стиль часов, а также вид всплывающих уведомлений. Ещё локскрин обзавёлся поддержкой видеозаставок. А уведомления в шторке стали крупнее.
Дизайн иконок тоже освежили: они выглядят более трёхмерными и объёмными за счёт продвинутых теней и эффекта отражений. Ещё увеличили количество цветовых схем. Интерфейс можно оформить в разных наборах оттенков — спасибо улучшенному движку динамических тем в ОС Android 13. На рабочем столе появились компактные виджеты, способные накладываться друг на друга. Переключать их удобно с помощью горизонтальной прокрутки — так экономится пространство на домашнем экране.
Безопасность и другие фишки
В опциях добавили раздел Security and Privacy. В нём представлен подробный обзор статуса безопасности устройства и подсказки по повышению защиты. Также есть предупреждение при отправке фотографий. Если они содержат приватные сведения (номер карты, данные паспорта и тому подобное), система уведомит об этом пользователя.
Другая полезная функция — Modes. С ней получится создавать настраиваемые сценарии работы гаджета на разные случаи. К примеру, в режиме «Пробежка» автоматически отключается звук уведомлений, чтобы не прерывать музыку. Оптимизировали и голосового помощника Bixby. Его механизм Text Call позволяет отвечать на телефонные звонки заранее заданным текстом — сообщение озвучит робот. А когда собеседник ответит, ассистент отобразит его слова в виде текста на дисплее.
Кроме того, появилось меню Connected Devices. В нём легко управлять всеми внешними аксессуарами, подключёнными через Bluetooth, Samsung DeX или «Связь с Windows». Там же доступны опции Quick Share и Smart View, а с фирменными Galaxy Buds Pro заработает функция Auto Switch. Она умеет бесшовно переподключать наушники к разным устройствам в списке.

Camera features#
If you click any photo that has text, it gives you the option right away to extract the text; you can easily copy, and if it’s the phone number, you even get a call option.The keyboard and screenshot also have this feature.The food mode works with a telephoto camera, and the pro modes have a histogram.
Individual Call backgrounds#
In One UI 5, you can set different call backgrounds for different contacts.Depending on your choice, the background can be a photo, video, or emoji.
Multitasking Features#
You can now swipe up from the bottom to put an app in split-screen mode.Users can hold an app on the recent screen and drag it to put it in the floating window or split screen.One can swipe down from the sidebar to put an app into a floating window.
Other Features#
The gallery app has been updated, and the lasso tool allows you to crop photos in different shapes.You can convert any photo into a sticker and add it to your editing photo.Samsung’s keyboard has been updated and has become more efficient in terms of usage.
One UI 5 Release Date and Eligible devices List#
Samsung has already rolled out its final stable version of One UI 5 for its Galaxy S-series premium devices. The devices include the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22. Samsung is planning to roll out the One UI 5 update for the Galaxy S20, Note Galaxy A series, Galaxy S21 series, and a few Galaxy M-Series devices. Here is the exact timeline and release date of One UI 5 for your devices. Samsung has officially released the timeline for rolling out the One UI 5 update to all its supported smartphones and devices in India. According to Samsung, the flagship phones and tablets will get the One UI 5 update with stable Android version 13 in late November or early December. While some mid-range devices and older flagships will get the stable update around late December or early January 2023. В One UI 5 будет реализовано несколько интересных новшеств. Так, пользователи смогут изменять экран блокировки по типу того, как это делается в iOS 16. Оболочка One UI 5.0 на базе Android 13 официально выходит в октябре
Дебютирует One UI 5.0 на смартфонах серии Galaxy S22. Глобальное развертывание обновления начнется в конце октября. Другие флагманские смартфоны Samsung, включая серию Galaxy S21, а также складные Galaxy Z Fold 3/4 и Galaxy Z Flip 3/4 получат прошивку до конца этого года. Развертывание обновления для младших смартфонов Galaxy начнется только в следующем году.
